Senior Demo Platform Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote, United States; hybrid schedule available for candidates in the El Dorado Hills, California or Chicago, Illinois metro areas.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate a standardized demo platform for scalable environment provisioning and maintenance.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code and automation for environment creation, updates, resets, and teardown.
• Build CI/CD workflows aligned with release trains, configurations, and feature flags.
• Create golden demo templates with realistic configurations and safe, reusable seed data.
• Improve reliability through observability, alerting, runbooks, self-service tooling, metrics, and dashboards.
• Partner with Sales Engineering, Product, and Engineering while resolving complex infrastructure, networking, application configuration, and data issues.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure and automation at scale.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Experience building and operating CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, environment lifecycle management, and scripting in Python, Bash, or an equivalent language.
• Experience supporting internal customers with production-grade reliability and clear operational processes.

Nice to have

• Experience building self-service provisioning platforms, portals, CLI tools, or templates.
• Familiarity with feature flagging, configuration management, and multi-tenant demo environments.
• Experience with test data generation, sanitization, and refresh processes.
• Experience operating environments with compliance or security constraints.
