Field Applications Engineer (Power Semiconductors): Providing technical support for customer opportunities incorporating integrated power semiconductor products and services with an accent on power supply design, customer requirements, and product positioning. Focus on developing business opportunities, executing market sales strategies, communicating customer needs to design teams, and presenting power technologies to customers and regional sales teams.

Location: Remote from Hungary; Romania or Hungary

What you will do

Provide technical support to customers using MPS products and power technology expertise.
Support EU revenue growth through direct and indirect technical activities.
Identify and develop new business opportunities and execute sales strategies for market opportunities.
Communicate customer technical requirements to sales and design teams.
Track market developments and competitor activities to support product strategy.
Educate and present to regional sales teams and customers on MPS products and technology.

Requirements

BS or MS degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
At least five years of power supply design experience or experience as a power supply Field Applications Engineer.
Oral and written proficiency in English.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work remotely from Hungary or be located in Romania or Hungary.
Ability to travel domestically and overseas.
