Staff Hardware Development Engineer (Optical Modules)

What you will do

• Validate 1.6T optical module hardware performance using oscilloscopes, bit error rate testers, vector network analyzers, and optical spectrum analyzers.
• Perform root-cause analysis and debug hardware issues during bring-up and testing.
• Verify compliance with IEEE 802.3, OIF, and MSA specifications.
• Evaluate and qualify critical components, including lasers, modulators, drivers, TIAs, and DSPs, with suppliers.
• Support manufacturing, test development, and reliability validation for new product introduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, or Testing Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with high-speed measurements and hardware debugging.
• Familiarity with optical communication components and modulation formats such as NRZ, PAM4, and QAM.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
