Technical Packaging Manager (FMCG)

What you will do

• Lead the development of primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging from concept through launch and commercialization.
• Deliver innovative, sustainable, commercially viable packaging for the Sports Nutrition portfolio.
• Manage multiple packaging projects, timelines, budgets, risks, and technical challenges.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Creative, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and external suppliers.
• Support line trials, filling trials, scale-up activities, packaging testing, and print approvals.
• Review packaging samples, specifications, technical documentation, and product data for SKU setup.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Packaging, Packaging Technology, Packaging Design, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in packaging development within the FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, print processes, and packaging technologies.
• Experience managing packaging projects from concept to launch and supporting manufacturing trials.
• Understanding of packaging sustainability and regulatory requirements, including EPR and Plastic Packaging Tax.
• Strong problem-solving, planning, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
