AI Engineering Team Lead

Location: Tel Aviv-Yafo, Tel Aviv District, Israel

What you will do

• Design and build the AI core of a greenfield cybersecurity product, including researcher agents, deterministic runners, and multi-agent orchestration across thousands of targets and hundreds of sites.
• Own the agent stack, including LLM selection and behavior, RAG pipelines, tool use, memory, evaluation, and observability.
• Design progressive autonomy with pre-checks, fault tolerance, rollback mechanisms, and complete audit trails.
• Build evaluation and observability pipelines for trustworthy, debuggable autonomous behavior in production.
• Partner with Security and DevOps on agent execution boundaries and on-premises to cloud data flows.
• Write production code, define engineering standards, shape the roadmap with product management and design partners, and grow the engineering team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience with production systems, including team leadership or technical leadership.
• Experience building an engineering team from the ground up, including hiring and establishing engineering culture.
• Production experience shipping AI or LLM products, beyond demos and proofs of concept.
• Strong Python and/or TypeScript skills, with hands-on experience in LLMs, agent frameworks, prompt engineering, RAG, and production model behavior.
• Understanding of distributed systems, workflow orchestration, fault-tolerant architectures, and asynchronous patterns.
• Experience with cloud and self-hosted model deployment, hands-on coding leadership, and zero-to-one product development.

Nice to have

• Experience in network security, asset discovery, traffic analysis, cybersecurity, or critical infrastructure.
• Familiarity with OT/ICS protocols such as Modbus, S7comm, PROFINET, and DNP3.
• Production experience with multi-agent architectures, memory libraries, LLM evaluation frameworks, vector stores, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CDK, or Terraform.
