AI Agent Engineer (Commercial AI Transformation)

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; fully onsite five days per week for the first six months, followed by a hybrid model with at least 50% onsite attendance

Salary: CAD 120,000–150,000 per year

What you will do

• Map commercial business processes and design, build, deploy, and refine AI agents and agent chains.
• Build and maintain data pipelines using source systems such as Microsoft Graph API, Teams, and Snowflake.
• Develop Workato or similar iPaaS recipes and API endpoints with logging and monitoring.
• Prepare data for enterprise search and AI indexing, including filtering, summarization, sensitivity handling, and permission-aware retrieval.
• Apply access controls, OAuth protection, IP whitelisting, SSO, group restrictions, and data minimization.
• Own agents from proof of concept through production, including testing, version control, deployment, monitoring, error handling, and recovery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
• 4+ years of software development experience, including business process automation at meaningful scale.
• Strong SDLC fundamentals covering Git, code review, testing, and release/deployment practices.
• Hands-on experience with iPaaS or automation platforms and cloud data warehouses such as Workato and Snowflake.
• Recent experience designing, building, and deploying LLM-based agents or agentic workflows into production.
• Working knowledge of enterprise identity, access control, SSO, OAuth, group permissions, and commercial operations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Glean or other enterprise search and knowledge platforms.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Defender, Graph API, Panther, Splunk, Salesforce, or similar tools.
• Presales, customer success, or commercial operations experience.
• Mentoring experience and familiarity with test-driven development.
