Test Engineer (Battery)

Location: Manteca, California, United States; onsite laboratory or production test area

What you will do

• Perform static, safety, functional, fire protection, and liquid injection tests on battery products.
• Conduct dynamic performance testing to verify reliability and compliance with technical standards.
• Collect, analyze, interpret, and document test data in detailed reports.
• Troubleshoot testing issues, report anomalies or failures, and support corrective actions.
• Maintain and calibrate testing instruments and keep test areas organized and compliant with safety requirements.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Production teams to improve testing methods and product reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an electrical-related major.
• More than one year of test engineering experience; solar or battery project experience is preferred.
• More than one year of energy-related work experience.
• Working knowledge of company products, competitive products, and the market.
• Strong knowledge of battery testing procedures, electrical systems, electrical safety, data analysis, and basic quality management.
• Ability to work around high-voltage systems in a controlled laboratory or production test environment; PPE and strict safety compliance are mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience with solar or battery projects.
