Senior Technical Consultant (AI)

Location: McLean, Virginia, United States; office attendance required 4–5 days per week. Willingness to travel up to 20% annually for customer engagements is required.

Salary: $100,000–$200,000 USD base salary per year, plus potential discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and implement custom software and AI solutions on the hirify.global platform for commercial clients.
• Work across the full project life cycle, including defining, designing, developing, and deploying applications.
• Analyze client business processes and technical requirements in an agile environment.
• Launch relational data models in production and build integrations using APIs, JDBC connections, and web services.
• Identify AI use cases and implement RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and generative AI models.
• Collaborate with client technical teams and business users, mentor others, and support client adoption of process applications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on software development or technical consulting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience leading small teams through post-sale software implementations and mentoring or developing others.
• Knowledge of business process definition, functional and technical requirements gathering, agile methodologies, and cross-functional delivery.
• Basic object-oriented programming knowledge, relational database design, data modeling, and SQL skills.
• Experience with software testing practices, automated test suites, continuous integration, and API integrations including REST and SOAP.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, AI, analytics, machine learning, application integration, developer tools, governance, databases, or elastic containers.
