Technical Operations Manager / Senior Manager (Biotechnology)

Location: Monrovia, California, United States

Salary: $133,500–$172,000 annually at Manager level; $160,000–$194,000 annually at Senior Manager level, dependent on experience.

What you will do

• Coordinate technical project management across R&D groups, project leads, and group managers.
• Distill technical requirements and support delivery of project milestones.
• Support strategic operational initiatives, including inventory management, financial modeling, and site improvements.
• Manage facility operations to maintain a safe, high-quality workplace.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and high-impact ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical project management, operational excellence, or a similar area within a high-growth organization.
• Education in chemistry, biology, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction across concurrent projects.
• Experience working in a startup or ambiguous, fast-changing environment.
• Strong judgment, attention to detail, work ethic, integrity, and ability to deliver under timelines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
