Bot Field Service Maintenance Technician (Robotics)

Location: USA remote, field-based position with 100% travel to customer and hirify.global sites across the US. Approximately 75% of the work takes place on construction sites with required PPE.

Salary: $71,000–$97,900 per year, plus medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), PTO, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Repair, calibrate, inspect, upgrade, and recover automated robotic vehicle fleets and associated warehouse automation systems.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting using electro-mechanical diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and test equipment.
• Support continuous system operation by adjusting, replacing, and modifying fleet components.
• Inspect delivered robotic vehicles, verify quality and shipping condition, and confirm structure readiness.
• Document inspections, repairs, parts, and labor in the Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Communicate production-impacting issues, corrective actions, timelines, and commissioning activities with on-site personnel and Control Center Operators.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with mechanical automation systems.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience or certification in electronics, automotive, automation, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• Strong robotic troubleshooting, electro-mechanical, electrical troubleshooting, repair, and inspection skills.
• Proficiency with schematics and wiring diagrams; programming experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, lead and train team members, delegate daily work, and respond to changing operational needs.
• Must be able to travel 100%, hold a valid driver’s license, communicate in written and verbal English, work at heights up to 45 feet, enter restrictive areas, and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
