Manufacturing Engineer (Advanced Electronics)

What you will do

• Execute process and equipment verification and validation.
• Design, develop, modify, and improve manufacturing processes, tools, fixtures, and production equipment.
• Coordinate engineering design changes across sites and cross-functional teams.
• Calculate project and component costs, production lead times, staffing requirements, and related costs.
• Create and update manufacturing work instructions and process documentation for assembly, integration, and production instrument testing.
• Train production staff and collaborate with engineering, sourcing, suppliers, and external vendors on materials, equipment, specifications, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Experience with manufacturing process development, tooling and fixture design, and production equipment evaluation.
• Knowledge of process improvement methods including Gage R&R, Cpk, SPC, Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping, and 5S.
• Ability to evaluate costs, production capacity, staffing, lead times, suppliers, and equipment requirements.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and coordinate engineering changes.
• Ability to comply with applicable regulatory requirements, including FDA, CDA, and CFDA.
