Salary: $100,000–$135,000 USD base pay per year, plus potential stock, cash incentives, and employee stock purchase plan participation.

What you will do
- Develop, integrate, and test mechanical systems for Electron and Neutron launch vehicles.
- Oversee launch vehicle system configuration and checkout.
- Lead testing projects, including static testing and integrated stage hot fire testing.
- Develop CONOPS and HMIs for vehicle stage and engine hardware.
- Perform real-time troubleshooting during testing and operations.
- Author, review, and execute operations procedures while mentoring and training operators.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic engineering; 6+ years of experience may substitute for the degree at Engineer II level, and 9+ years at Senior level.
- At least 2 years of experience in engineering design, testing, or operations focused on mechanical or propulsion systems for Engineer II, or 5+ years for Senior.
- U.S. office candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, asylees, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations under ITAR.
- Ability to work with mechanical, propulsion, fluid, cryogenic, pressurized, and hazardous systems.
- Ability to perform real-time hazardous operations and troubleshoot operational issues.
Nice to have
- Experience with launch vehicles or spacecraft integration, testing, launch, or mission operations.
- Experience with integrated stage thermal/fluid systems design, testing, or operations.
