Associate Field Applications Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Support customers with the design and application of power semiconductor products.
• Evaluate customer system requirements and administer the technical, technological, and functional aspects of proposals.
• Troubleshoot system applications and resolve engineering issues related to customer designs.
• Represent the company at seminars, conferences, and customer meetings.
• Work with Field Sales Engineers to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Rotate through different departments during the ramp-up phase to gain cross-functional experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or higher.
• New college graduate or less than two years of experience in the electronics industry.
• Understanding of schematics and layouts, with experience using laboratory equipment to analyze analog circuits.
• Hands-on experience with analog power management electronics on the PCB is preferred.
• Advanced German and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Driver’s license and willingness to travel.
