Senior Software Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Architect production-grade Python systems for experimentation, prototyping, and deployment.
• Build internal tooling, APIs, and libraries that simplify infrastructure for ML, computer vision, and robotics researchers.
• Lead engineering practices for code quality, testing, modularity, documentation, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with the data platform team to integrate data processing, training, and inference capabilities.
• Design CI/CD workflows for research-heavy Python projects.
• Serve as a technical lead, make engineering decisions, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• Strong background in software architecture and large-scale backend development using C#, Java, Python, or another language.
• Experience building developer tools, frameworks, or platforms for technical teams.
• Experience with cloud-based development, data storage, persistence, secure access, and integration between on-premises infrastructure and cloud services.
• Ability to learn and support ML, computer vision, and robotics workflows without focusing on model tuning.
• Collaborative approach to bridging research and production.
