Senior Backend Engineer (AI)

Location: Based out of the Jerusalem or Tel Aviv offices, Israel

What you will do

• Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, and maintainable backend code.
• Design and implement APIs, microservices, and integrations with third-party services.
• Support deployment and testing of new products and features.
• Optimize application performance through profiling, monitoring, and refactoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate in code reviews and help establish development standards and coding conventions.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years of backend software development experience, including web application development.
• Deep familiarity with and daily hands-on use of AI and emerging technologies.
• Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar databases.
• Knowledge of AWS or similar cloud platforms and experience with microservices architecture.
• Fluent Hebrew and English communication skills.
