Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Florida, United States; remote work indicated

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and develop complete computer systems and application software.
• Contribute to software architecture discussions, make design decisions, and align solutions with business goals and engineering best practices.
• Solve complex technical problems involving technology selection, system architecture, and project planning.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Conduct code reviews focused on quality, maintainability, and coding standards.
• Design data systems and integrate AI agent code into products using cloud technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years designing and building complex, scalable systems.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, algorithms, and system architecture.
• Experience with cloud technologies, including Azure and AWS, and microservices architecture.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, make critical decisions, and build consensus.
• Maintain all certifications required by local professional associations.

• Experience with Graph APIs and GraphQL systems.
