Software Engineer, Frontend (AI)

Location: San Francisco; onsite, 5 days in the office

What you will do

• Build AI-native interfaces, including chat, copilots, and agent-driven workflows.
• Develop dynamic, context-aware product surfaces that adapt to model output in real time.
• Partner with product and design to create thoughtful interactions.
• Improve frontend performance, polish, usability, and overall product quality.

Requirements

• Production experience shipping frontend features end to end.
• Strong product sense and a high bar for user experience.
• Solid fundamentals in React, TypeScript, and modern component systems.
• Interest in LLM user experience, streaming, partial state, and evolving UI patterns.
• Ability to work onsite in San Francisco 5 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience building real-time or chat-style interfaces with streaming responses and tool outputs.
• Experience with design systems or component libraries.
• Experience making unreliable or evolving data feel stable and intuitive.
