Frontend/UX Engineer (AI)

Location: New York City, on-site

Salary: $150,000–$275,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and build polished, performant, and responsive user interfaces.
• Create real-time product experiences integrating AI insights, user annotations, and collaborative workflows.
• Architect and deliver end-to-end user experiences for biopharma customers.
• Work closely with backend and AI engineers to ensure seamless data flow and frontend/backend integration.
• Design, ship, and own production-level software from start to finish.
• Collaborate with the co-founders and contribute across the startup as it grows.

Requirements

• Strong frontend experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and modern frontend tooling.
• Relevant experience building systems and deploying enterprise-grade products.
• Ability to think independently, make decisions, and drive results.
• Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including giving and receiving direct feedback.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership.
