Design Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, on-site

Salary: $200,000–$350,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Build smooth, performant agent user experiences with streaming responses and interleaved UI components.
• Design, extend, and own the product design system.
• Identify opportunities for animation and refine interaction details.
• Drive work from initial idea through design and implementation.
• Build frontend infrastructure that supports the product vision and differentiates hirify.global.
• Collaborate closely with product and design partners across the design-engineering boundary.

Requirements

• 4+ years of full-time design or design engineering experience.
• Strong generalist design and frontend engineering skills.
• Experience building and contributing to design systems.
• Comfort working across the stack with TypeScript, Node, and React.
• Excellent product taste and attention to interaction details.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco.
