SAFe System Architect - Services Engineering EMEA Train (SAFe/Enterprise Architecture): Defining and driving the architectural vision for scalable, resilient airline eCommerce solutions across distributed development teams with an accent on system boundaries, integration models, architectural runway, and cross-domain alignment. Focus on reviewing complex designs, governing dependencies and shared enablers, supporting SAFe events, and driving modernization through AI adoption, automation, observability, and technology upgrades.

What you will do
- Define and maintain the train-level architectural vision in alignment with SAFe principles and standards.
- Shape the architectural runway, system boundaries, interfaces, integration models, and key architectural decisions.
- Review complex technical designs across distributed teams and promote reuse, harmonization, and technology standards.
- Align architecture across business domains, solution teams, adjacent trains, and security, performance, and integration frameworks.
- Support PI Planning, System Demos, ART Syncs, architecture communities, and other SAFe events by addressing dependencies, risks, and priorities.
- Drive modernization and continuous improvement through AI adoption, automation, observability, technology upgrades, and quality improvements.
Requirements
- Significant depth and breadth of expertise in system architecture and the broader technology environment.
- Experience providing technical leadership, architectural guidance, coaching, and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with Product Management, Release Train Engineering, architecture communities, customer stakeholders, and development teams.
- Ability to evaluate complex requirements and designs, manage technical debt, and support long-term platform sustainability.
- Experience working with SAFe practices, including PI Planning, System Demos, ART Syncs, and architecture forums.
