Infrastructure Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; on-site, primarily from the Stockholm office

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain the cloud infrastructure powering Tandem’s products.
• Build scalable systems on Kubernetes to support rapid and reliable product development.
• Develop and optimize secure CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Implement encryption and key management systems for healthcare-grade security and sensitive patient data.
• Embed observability, monitoring, and alerting across the infrastructure stack.
• Improve performance, reliability, scalability, testing, and automation in a regulated industry.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure; Azure is preferred, while AWS and GCP are also welcome.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and modern cloud tooling.
• Hands-on programming experience and a software engineering background.
• Solid knowledge of networking, security, and encryption concepts.
• Experience with Terraform, Helm, or infrastructure-as-code.
• High standards for quality, documentation, correctness, and pragmatic delivery.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated industries such as healthtech or finance, especially with Medical Device Regulation.
• Contributions to open-source or platform-related communities.
• Experience building systems that scale while maintaining reliability.
