Senior Infrastructure Software Engineer - Hardware Test

Location: Onsite at the Bothell, Washington office; up to 10% travel.

Salary: $151,756–$198,688 annual base salary, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying test automation software across a distributed fleet of testbeds.
• Develop infrastructure for testbed provisioning, remote management, monitoring, security, compliance, and observability.
• Contribute to testbed architecture and hardware selection decisions.
• Serve as the infrastructure subject-matter expert and collaborate with SRE, DevOps, hardware, and software engineering teams.
• Lead moderately scoped infrastructure projects and solve complex problems involving cost, quality, scalability, and delivery speed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security best practices, and Linux system administration.
• Strong programming experience with Python, Go, or another modern language.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Ansible, and provisioning tools such as iPXE.
• Due to U.S. export control and government contract restrictions, access to some technology may require U.S. Person status, an export license, or a license exception.

Nice to have

• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing, electronics test labs, or deployments at remote and contract-manufacturer sites.
• Cloud development and deployment experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Cross-platform deployment automation for Linux and Windows, including PXE, Kickstart, or Preseed bare-metal provisioning.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, ISO 9001, ITAR, gRPC, MQTT, or other distributed-systems protocols.
