Software Engineer - Infrastructure (Cloud/Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Design, develop, manage, and improve core cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure for hirify.global Aura.
• Build resilient, highly available infrastructure across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• Develop tools, processes, and documentation for internal and external platform use.
• Operate and maintain more than 800 production Kubernetes clusters in a 24/7/365 service environment.
• Investigate issues across Kubernetes, networking, compute, storage, logging, and security, then automate solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with infrastructure peers, other teams, and Product Managers to prioritize and deliver platform features.

Requirements

• Expertise in one or more cloud service providers: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Production software development experience with Go or a similar language.
• Production Kubernetes experience, including Pods, Deployments, DaemonSets, StatefulSets, PVCs, PVs, and the operator pattern.
• Experience extending Kubernetes through Custom Resources and using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Crossplane, Config Connector, AWS Controllers for Kubernetes, or Azure Service Operator.
• Experience with virtual machines, Linux, networking, and storage.
