Billing Specialist (3PL Logistics)

What you will do

• Prepare complex client invoices for fulfillment services and parcel operations.
• Analyze large datasets using advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Excellence, Operations, and Implementations during customer onboarding.
• Build customer relationships and resolve billing disputes to support timely payments.
• Document billing procedures, implement best practices, and report KPIs, revenue trends, and operational variances.
• Support internal and external audit requests.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States while working remotely.
• Strong understanding of 3PL operations and data flows between WMS and OMS.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or data analytics, or five years of experience in omnichannel, supply chain, parcel, or logistics-related industries.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas.
• Experience analyzing large datasets, preparing customer invoices, identifying discrepancies, and investigating billing issues.
• Strong communication, collaboration, time-management, organization, independence, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with 3PL billing and processes.
• Experience with Freshdesk, Salesforce, or NetSuite.
