Senior Manager - Product Engineer (FPGA)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; travel required 0%–25%; usual business hours.

Annual base salary: $90,000–$232,000 USD, plus restricted stock units and quarterly bonus payments.

What you will do

• Lead and grow the product engineering team through internal development and strategic hiring.
• Define manufacturing plans for next-generation FPGA and SoC products.
• Plan and execute product qualification activities for advanced FPGA and SoC products.
• Supervise test limit validation, yield enhancement, failure analysis, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate offshore bring-up, new product introduction, production ramp, and revenue execution.
• Support customer requests and enable product shipments and technology adoption.

Requirements

• BSEE, MSEE, or equivalent, with 15+ years of electrical engineering industry experience.
• At least 10 years of team leadership or management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of solid-state physics, silicon reliability, and process failure mechanisms.
• 5+ years of experience with SoC product qualifications and JEDEC standards.
• Hands-on experience with data management tools and languages such as KLA and JMP, plus understanding of SoC and FPGA architectures and FPGA software design suites.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, decision-making, analytical, organizational, and strategic planning skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Perl or Python scripting.
• Knowledge of AECQ-100 or MIL-STD-883 qualification standards.
