Site Management Specialist (Data Center Infrastructure)

Location: New York or London. Ability to travel globally is required.

Salary: Minimum base salary of $100,000 annually when located in New York, plus potential discretionary bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and improve standards and runbooks for the design and commissioning of data centers, offices, and colocation facilities.
• Lead vendors through scopes of work and requests for proposals or information.
• Manage facility fit-outs and construction projects against infrastructure stakeholder requirements.
• Provide capacity, inventory, and alert management; analyze data and recommend improvements.
• Manage IMACs and participate in scheduled power downs across facilities.
• Initiate projects that improve capability and efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize unplanned downtime.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or technology engineering.
• Understanding of power calculations for single- and three-phase circuits, electrical diagrams, and control diagrams.
• Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to travel globally.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of a scripting language such as Python.
• Knowledge of feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS, ATS switches, PDU units, and HVAC systems.
• Experience in problem solving and project management.
• Internship experience in facility management, data center operations, or power generation and distribution.
