Site Management Specialist (Data Center Infrastructure)

Location: New York or London; requires global travel.

Salary: Minimum base salary of $100,000 for roles located in New York, plus potential discretionary bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve standards, runbooks, implementation strategies, and procedural documents for infrastructure design and commissioning.
• Lead vendors through scopes of work and requests for proposals or information.
• Manage the fit-out and build-out of construction projects to align with infrastructure stakeholder requirements.
• Provide capacity, inventory, and alert management; analyze data and recommend improvements.
• Initiate projects that add capability, improve efficiency, or reduce operating costs while minimizing unplanned downtime.
• Manage IMACs at data centers and colocation sites and participate in scheduled power-downs across facilities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or technology engineering.
• Understanding of basic power calculations for single-phase and three-phase circuits, electrical diagrams, and control diagrams.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Ability to travel globally.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of a scripting language, such as Python.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering for feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS, ATS switches, PDU units, and HVAC systems.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and project management experience.
• Internship experience in facility management, data center operations, or power generation and distribution.
