Annual base salary: $115,000–$158,000

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end deployment of mid-to-large-scale automation projects, delivering milestones on time, within budget, and to safety specifications.
  • Scope, evaluate, and manage external automation integrators and equipment manufacturers against Statement of Work deliverables.
  • Coordinate internal engineering resources and cross-functional stakeholders to translate capacity needs and engineering data into factory automation projects.
  • Deliver completed automation projects to factory operations teams and support production deployment.
  • Implement company-wide automation standards and frameworks.
  • Ensure interoperability and data continuity across custom machinery, industrial robotics networks, MES, PLM, and ERP systems to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading automation projects, systems integration, or industrial engineering initiatives in a production environment.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Robotics Engineering.
  • Experience taking automation systems from vendor design reviews through 24/7 production release.
  • Strong technical background in industrial robotics, PLC architectures, and safety systems integration.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing external vendors and internal stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing CapEx budgets exceeding $250,000 for automation lines.
  • Practical understanding of Design for Manufacturability and Design for Reliability in precision manufacturing.
