Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Act as secretary for the ISO 9001 QMS committee and prepare, review, control, and maintain quality documentation.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and sustain actions deployed on the shop floor.
• Monitor and report team quality KPIs.
• Support and conduct internal and external audits, managing findings and corrective actions through completion.
• Investigate customer complaints and quality queries and ensure conformance with customer requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering; Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• At least 6 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or in Quality Assurance within a multinational manufacturing company.
• Required: knowledge and experience with ISO 9001.
• Knowledge of machining, preferably stamping, tooling or die equipment, and fabrication processes.
• Strong written and spoken English, communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to lead a team.

Nice to have

• Experience with QC08000, GMP, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
• Familiarity with 8D, 5Why, statistical analysis, and the seven QC tools.
• One to three years of experience in electronics, thermal solutions, converting, assembly, or related manufacturing industries.
