Quality Engineer, Professional Senior (ISO 9001): Implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 quality management systems, conducting audits, and improving quality processes with an accent on non-conformance investigation, QMS metrics, and continuous improvement. Focus on auditing design processes, analyzing quality data with Power BI, developing training curricula, and coordinating improvements with cross-functional stakeholders.
Location: Guangzhou, China; ideal work locations are Guangzhou, China or Penang, Malaysia

What you will do
- Implement, maintain, and improve global ISO 9001 Quality Management System protocols and methods.
- Conduct internal ISO 9001 audits, support external audits, and build accurate audit schedules.
- Investigate potential non-conformances, gather audit data, and drive timely corrective actions.
- Monitor QMS performance metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare reports, analyze quality and process data, and make recommendations to management.
- Train and mentor technicians and engineers while collaborating with management and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of work experience, including 5+ years improving and maintaining ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with education and training in quality principles required.
- Advanced MS Office and Power BI data analysis skills.
- Experience implementing an ISO system, auditing design processes, and making continual improvement recommendations.
- Strong auditing, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 10% and work independently with limited supervision.
Nice to have
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor training from an accredited organization.
- Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or similar training.
- Experience applying AI or machine learning to quality data analysis, process automation, or continuous improvement.
