Sr. Analytics Engineer (AI)

Base pay range: $165,000–$185,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Build and maintain dbt models in Amazon Redshift based on business needs.
• Apply software engineering practices to the transformation layer, including reusable code, testing, lineage, and documentation.
• Convert ambiguous questions from Commercial, Marketing, and Health Services teams into reusable data models and dashboards.
• Define and govern consistent metrics through the semantic layer and support experimentation and campaign measurement.
• Partner with Data Engineering, Product, and analytics teams to deliver analysis-ready data.
• Build AI-driven workflows and identify data quality issues before they affect business decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, BI, data analytics, or data modeling.
• Expert SQL and fluency with dbt, Git, and the analytics development lifecycle.
• Strong data modeling and data warehousing fundamentals, including documented tables with clear grain.
• Experience governing metric definitions through a semantic layer and translating business needs into usable models and dashboards.
• Hands-on experience building AI-driven workflows or skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a changing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cube, Looker, or similar semantic-layer and BI tools.
• Healthcare or other regulated-data experience.
• Experience measuring marketing campaigns, experiments, or engagement.
