Senior Analytics Engineer (AI)

Location: New York City, United States

Salary: $175,000–$190,000 USD per year, plus incentive bonus, stock options, comprehensive benefits, and applicable incentive pay.

What you will do

• Architect and own scalable dbt model layers supporting analytics, experimentation, AI, and downstream ML workflows.
• Establish standards for transformation logic, documentation, observability, testing, validation, monitoring, performance, and reliability.
• Define and govern KPI and metric layers, build data marts, and resolve metric fragmentation across teams and tools.
• Translate ambiguous cross-functional requirements into structured, reusable data models and align Product, Clinical, Finance, Growth, Client Success, and Data Engineering stakeholders.
• Structure data assets for personalization, ROI measurement, experimentation, and AI/LLM workflows, including hirify.global’s Cube/semantic API layer.
• Mentor Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts and partner with Data Science and ML on feature-ready datasets.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, or data modeling.
• Expert SQL skills and experience building production-grade data models at cross-functional scale.
• Deep knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, semantic layer design, and advanced dbt practices.
• Experience with modern data stacks such as Redshift, Snowflake, or similar technologies.
• Ability to define metrics, resolve ambiguity, manage stakeholders, build consensus, and work in fast-moving environments.

Nice to have

• Architectural experience with Looker, Cube.js, or similar semantic-layer and BI tooling.
• Healthcare data, regulated environments, or compliance-adjacent data pipeline experience.
• Experience with experimentation design, A/B analysis, ROI measurement, AI/ML data preparation, feature engineering, or agentic analytics.
• Experience mentoring engineers or improving team-level data quality standards.
• Experience with data observability tools such as Monte Carlo or Elementary.
