What you will do
- Design and build secure AI infrastructure for production AI agents.
- Develop agent control plane capabilities, embedded controls, and security mechanisms for managing and securing agent execution.
- Build reusable backend services, APIs, developer tools, CLIs, and integrations with Agent SDKs and MCP.
- Design Python and AWS microservices for distributed AI applications.
- Implement observability through telemetry, monitoring, tracing, and operational visibility.
- Partner with AI researchers and backend engineers to move prototypes into production and own projects from architecture through deployment.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong backend engineering background with excellent Python development skills.
- Experience building backend services, microservice architectures, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, AI applications or agents, Agent SDKs, and Model Context Protocol.
- Experience building developer tools, APIs, or CLI applications, with strong software architecture and production engineering knowledge.
- Security engineering background and the ability to independently drive projects from concept through production.
Nice to have
- Experience building agent control planes, embedded policy controls, or AI observability platforms.
- Infrastructure engineering experience, including Kubernetes and containerized services.
- Experience building secure AI systems, working with LLMs in production, and integrating AI systems with cloud infrastructure.
