TL;DR
Principal Engineer - AI (Cybersecurity): Architecting and scaling AI-driven systems for real-time enterprise cybersecurity risk management with an accent on LLM orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, and evaluation. Focus on building reliable production agent workflows, designing MLOps and model-serving infrastructure, and implementing observability, safety, and governance frameworks.

What you will do
- Architect and scale AI systems including LLM orchestration, RAG, vector stores, prompt pipelines, and AI microservices.
- Build and productionize multi-turn, goal-oriented AI agents for TPRM, CTEM, and CRQ workflows.
- Partner with Platform, DevOps, and Data Engineering teams on model serving, AI APIs, model lifecycle management, data ingestion, semantic indexing, and context retrieval.
- Define evaluation, monitoring, observability, safety, and governance frameworks for enterprise AI systems.
- Implement human-in-the-loop mechanisms and continuous feedback loops.
- Mentor AI and backend engineers and translate AI goals into measurable engineering deliverables with product leaders.
Requirements
- 12+ years of total software engineering experience, including 4+ years building AI/ML systems or large-scale data and LLM infrastructure.
- Experience with model versioning, ML CI/CD, and performance optimization for real-time inference.
- Practical understanding of evaluation metrics, hallucination detection, RAG reliability, and enterprise AI safety.
- Experience designing scalable AI infrastructure, APIs, and production systems.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, India.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating AI into cybersecurity or risk management products.
- Familiarity with multi-agent systems and autonomous workflow frameworks such as CrewAI, LangGraph, or AutoGen.
- Experience with AI evaluation dashboards, observability stacks, knowledge graphs, semantic search, or retrieval pipelines.
- Exposure to data governance, compliance, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 environments.
- Published research, open-source contributions, or prior leadership of AI teams.
