Senior Robotics Software Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Build motion and trajectory planning for patterned, adaptive, sensor-driven motions and resource-aware sequencing across multiple robots.
• Develop kinematics, reachability, inverse kinematics, and collision-free trajectory planning for robotic manipulators.
• Implement real-time control and feedback loops, including trajectory correction, feature tracking, and camera-based visual servoing.
• Extend robotic systems to mobile platforms through localization, mapping, and navigation.
• Own hardware driver interfaces for robot controllers, sensors, scanners, and cameras.
• Advance planning and control with reinforcement learning, learned planners, simulation, and sim-to-real training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience building robotics software in modern C++.
• Hands-on experience with real-time robotics, motion control, or control software for physical hardware.
• Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and systems-level debugging.
• Fluent use of Linux and Git, plus familiarity with TDD, unit testing, and CI/CD.
• Python experience is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with reinforcement learning, imitation learning, sim-to-real, or robot simulation.
• Experience with SLAM, navigation, or ROS.
