Senior Quality Engineer

Location: Methuen, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid with in-person attendance as needed

Salary: $88,425–$147,375 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus

hirify.global develops Flow and Valve products and provides engineering and manufacturing technologies for industrial applications.

What you will do

• Support quality engineering activities for Flow and Valve products in partnership with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
• Determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions using the 8D process.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams on quality issues, Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement projects.
• Conduct or support Design FMEA, Process FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and manufacturing process control activities.
• Perform internal and external QMS audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Prepare procedures, reports, training materials, and quality records; travel up to 5%.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of Quality or Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Experience interacting with customers and suppliers.
• Experience with 8D, FAI, FMEA, DMAIC, Gage R&R, DFx, DOE, Six Sigma, and related quality and reliability tools.
• Familiarity with inspection methods, analytical metrology, and inspection equipment.
• Candidates generally must reside in a state where MKS is registered to do business; certain roles may require U.S. person status for access to ITAR- or EAR-controlled technologies.

Nice to have

• Technical knowledge of pressure products, electromechanical systems, and metrology or calibration.
• Experience in Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Design Engineering.
• Experience with supplier source inspections and supplier audits.
• Experience analyzing data with Excel and Microsoft Power BI.
