What you will do

• Develop and administer quality plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
• Conduct failure analysis, root cause and corrective action analysis, and risk mitigation.
• Act as the primary liaison for government (DCMA) programs, audits, and requirements.
• Support production by recommending design changes and providing quality support to manufacturing personnel.
• Collaborate with customers like Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Airbus to drive quality decisions.
• Optimize inspection costs through statistical analysis and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Quality, Manufacturing, or Product Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work onsite in East Aurora, NY.
• Must have access to U.S. export-controlled information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on multiple assignments concurrently.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Quality Engineering experience in aerospace or other regulated industries.
• Knowledge of LEAN methodologies and AS9100 Quality Systems.
• Exposure to ERP systems.
