VP of People

Location: On-site in Ventura, California, United States

Salary: $240,000–$275,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Build and manage the People department across talent acquisition, HR business partnership, and people operations.
• Develop hirify.global's talent strategy, including hiring roadmaps aligned with headcount plans and growth targets.
• Advise the executive team on organizational structure, workforce planning, and high-impact people decisions.
• Establish an HR business partnership model supporting organizational design, performance, and team development.
• Scale onboarding, performance management, benefits, and career framework programs.
• Design and launch compensation frameworks and leadership development programs.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in People, HR, or Talent.
• At least 5 years of experience managing a team and scaling a department.
• Experience building talent strategy and talent acquisition programs from scratch.
• Ability to connect workforce planning, talent analytics, leadership development, and organizational strategy to business goals.
• Meaningful experience across HR business partnership, people operations, and talent.
• Ability to work on-site in Ventura, California.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling a People function during a comparable headcount inflection at a high-growth company.
• Direct experience building an HRBP or Talent function.
