Principal Engineer Integration & Yield

hirify.global is hiring for a principal engineering role focused on semiconductor process integration and yield improvement.

What you will do

• Identify, resolve, and improve process integration, defect, and yield issues.
• Perform project management, data analysis, and product or process partitioning studies.
• Develop custom or derivative processes, module characterization methods, design rules, and test structures.
• Work with cross-functional teams to reduce defect activity and address technical and yield concerns.
• Build defect source libraries and tool defect-source fingerprinting capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement plans, process documentation, failure-mode assessment, and mitigation and detection activities.

Requirements

• Technical university degree, with local HR exceptions subject to approval.
• BS with 4–5 years of experience, MS with 2–4 years, or PhD with 1–2 years.
• Mastery of multiple aspects within a technical discipline and ability to solve complex, novel, non-recurring problems.
• Experience applying specialized knowledge, imaginative thinking, and sophisticated analytical techniques.
• Ability to participate in or lead project teams, train others, and collaborate with suppliers and technical consortia.
