Program Manager (U.S. Coast Guard)

Location: McLean, Virginia, United States; expected to work in the office 4–5 days per week

Base salary: $150,000–$300,000 USD per year, plus potential government clearance differential and discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the transition from separate hirify.global projects to a centralized U.S. Coast Guard modernization program.
• Establish and mature an hirify.global Center of Excellence covering intake, prioritization, architecture review, reusable assets, and platform adoption.
• Drive the roadmap for acquisition management, human resources, mission-focused case management, and other workflow modernization initiatives.
• Partner with Coast Guard stakeholders across mission support, acquisition, business operations, and technical leadership.
• Oversee cross-functional teams of developers, architects, business analysts, QA specialists, scrum leads, and integration resources.
• Manage governance, risk, release controls, performance reporting, executive communications, and advisory workstreams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IT program management, digital transformation, or enterprise platform delivery.
• 3+ years leading IT initiatives or Coast Guard or Department of War workflow application programs in a complex federal enterprise.
• Experience with workflow modernization, case management, integration delivery, Agile program execution, and portfolios combining software delivery with advisory services.
• Experience in regulated federal environments with security, compliance, and enterprise governance requirements.
• Ability to lead matrixed teams, influence senior stakeholders, and connect delivery decisions to mission outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting the U.S. Coast Guard, DHS, or other federal operational or mission support organizations.
• Scrum, SAFe, or hirify.global certifications.
• Experience building or operating a low-code Center of Excellence.
• Knowledge of hirify.global integrations with enterprise systems, APIs, and mission support platforms.
• Familiarity with federal acquisition environments and enterprise modernization efforts.
