hirify.global is a well-funded startup developing photonics infrastructure, optical interconnects, and photonic engines for AI supercomputing and high-performance computing.

What you will do

  • Analyze and troubleshoot optical, mechanical, and electrical failures in optical transceivers from field deployments and production testing.
  • Use schematics, test equipment, switches, fault-isolation methods, and Design of Experiments to identify failure root causes.
  • Partner with R&D, supplier quality, and production teams to define corrective and product improvement actions.
  • Document failure-analysis results, test data, photographs, repairs, shipment records, and traceability information.
  • Assess field risks, reliability estimates, and failure modes, and present updates to R&D, corporate teams, and customers.
  • Develop test infrastructure and automation scripts for customer switches, and respond to technical customer inquiries.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of related experience; experience testing 400G, 800G, or 1.6T transceiver modules is preferred.
  • BS/MS in physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience with analog and digital circuits, device physics, device characterization, and failure-analysis methodologies.
  • Understanding of MSA standards, customer requirements, OSA assemblies, and peripheral circuits.
  • Strong data-analysis, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of PCBA and module manufacturing processes is advantageous.
