Senior Reliability Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Define, plan, and execute reliability qualification programs for optoelectronic components.
• Evaluate semiconductor and optical component aging behavior and identify reliability risks.
• Develop degradation models and perform life prediction and accelerated life testing.
• Lead root-cause investigations and reliability analysis of field returns.
• Apply Design for Reliability, FMEA, and Fault Tree Analysis methodologies.
• Analyze reliability datasets, prepare technical reports, and present findings to internal, external, and customer stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor or optoelectronic industries.
• Experience with reliability engineering, qualification programs, failure mechanisms, accelerated life testing, reliability modeling, and lifetime prediction.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools such as ReliaSoft/Weibull++, JMP, Minitab, or Python.
• Knowledge of Design for Reliability, FMEA, and Fault Tree Analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; willingness to travel internationally.

Nice to have

• PhD or experience in semiconductor fabrication and process engineering.
• Test instrumentation development, die-level characterization, and failure analysis using Electroluminescence, FIB, SEM/TEM, or EDX.
• Programming experience in Python, C, or C#.
• Device modeling with COMSOL or Ansys, or machine learning applications for reliability datasets.
• Customer-facing reliability support, mentoring, or technical leadership experience.
