TL;DR
IT Site Support Technician (Networking/SaaS Administration): Supporting Toulouse-based users, onboarding new employees, administering laptops and SaaS permissions, and maintaining office IT and lab operations with an accent on end-user support, corporate networking, and documentation. Focus on provisioning Mac, Windows, and Linux devices, managing Okta and Google Workspace access, supporting vSphere and network setups, and maintaining reliable conference-room and office infrastructure.
Location: Toulouse, Occitanie, France; on-site. Candidates must be based in or able to relocate to the Toulouse area.

What you will do
- Provide first-line IT support for Toulouse-based employees, including hardware, software, permissions, printers, and equipment procurement.
- Support laboratory operations, including network setup, vSphere administration, and environmental controls.
- Onboard employees by provisioning Mac, Windows, and Linux devices through MDM tools and managing SaaS and SSO permissions.
- Document IT projects, systems, policies, and internal procedures for use across offices.
- Support AV conference rooms, office safety and security, and facilities maintenance and improvement projects.
- Assist the IT team with investigatory and regulatory audits.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on IT support experience following industry best practices.
- Professional working proficiency in English, spoken and written, is required.
- Strong end-user support and customer-service skills, including the ability to explain technical issues in plain language.
- Experience with corporate networking, including DNS, VPNs, and VLANs.
- Experience administering SaaS environments and SSO technologies such as Okta, Google Workspace, or O365.
- Based in or able to relocate to the Toulouse area for an on-site role.
Nice to have
- Okta administration experience and knowledge of Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience supporting Linux desktop environments.
- Knowledge of industry security practices.
- Experience with GCP or AWS in a DevOps/SRE capacity, plus Kubernetes or Docker experience.
- French-speaking ability.
