Technical Support Specialist - 6 Month Medical Leave (Medical Technology)

Location: Limonest, France. The role is described as on-site and is also eligible for a remote work arrangement from home.

What you will do

• Process returned medical devices requiring service by replacing defective parts, replacing devices, or transferring products to specialized Masimo facilities.
• Answer technical questions from hospital customers by phone and support delivery of Masimo parts.
• Assist sales staff with service-related activities at customer locations.
• Report field failures and customer complaints in accordance with the Masimo Quality System.
• Identify customer training needs and improve technical support procedures.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in technical support or the medical industry.
• Fluent French and excellent spoken and written English are required.
• Technical experience and the ability to communicate across the healthcare industry.
• Technical degree or equivalent clinical, medical, or technical experience.
• Knowledge of networking with the TCP/IP protocol; CCNA or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift approximately 22 kg.

Nice to have

• Biomedical experience.
• Remote troubleshooting using VPN and Linux experience.
• Self-starter attitude and hands-on approach with minimal supervision.
