What you will do

• Architect and specify BMS/BAS solutions for industrial and nuclear facilities, including network topology, controller selection, and integration strategies.
• Develop control sequences, I/O point lists, and functional descriptions while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.
• Design BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and Niagara network architectures for interoperability across equipment vendors.
• Integrate HVAC plant controls, electrical power monitoring systems, and specialized process systems into unified interfaces.
• Develop smart Revit families and map control points within BIM models.
• Lead commissioning, functional performance testing, troubleshooting, fault detection, energy sub-metering, trending, and OT network cybersecurity activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or a related automation discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in building automation, industrial controls, or SCADA systems.
• Expertise in Niagara 4 and open communication protocols, including BACnet/IP and Modbus TCP/RTU.
• Experience delivering controls projects for large-scale, high-reliability facilities such as data centers, laboratories, or advanced manufacturing sites.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for control diagrams, riser drawings, and floor plans.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer license or CEM and Niagara AX/N4 certifications.
• Programming or scripting experience with Python, C#, or JavaScript for data engineering and API integrations.
• Experience with smart building technologies, IoT sensors, cloud monitoring, and MQTT.
• Familiarity with Uptime Institute standards or similar high-availability requirements.
• Interest in AI tools, visual programming, and multidisciplinary engineering problem-solving.
