BMS Controls Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Location: On-site in Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Seattle, WA

Salary: $169,000–$208,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Engineer BMS controls for mechanical and electrical plant reference designs, including sequences, points lists, and graphics.
• Program, configure, test, and version control-platform logic.
• Integrate chillers, CDUs, power monitoring, and third-party equipment using common communication protocols.
• Support commissioning by executing functional tests, diagnosing failures, and incorporating fixes into standards.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience programming BMS platforms for data centers or large facilities.
• Ability to write and improve control sequences from scratch.
• Experience integrating equipment through BACnet, Modbus, and vendor protocols.
• Experience commissioning self-developed controls and resolving issues identified during testing.
• Ability to version and document logic for future ownership and maintenance.
• Ability to work on-site in one of the listed US locations.

Nice to have

• Tridium, ALC, or Siemens certification.
• Experience with chilled-water and liquid-cooling sequences.
• EPMS integration experience and graphics standards knowledge.
