Industrial Maintenance Technician (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Minden, Louisiana, United States

Salary: $34.00–$39.00 per hour base pay, excluding benefits and incentives.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical systems, including rotating equipment, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and production machinery.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems up to 480V, including motors, starters, variable-frequency drives, field wiring, conduit, and related equipment.
• Support basic PLC and control-system troubleshooting, including fault identification, input/output checks, and coordination with external controls resources.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance from the maintenance system and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Install, align, and commission new equipment and components while maintaining mechanical integrity and integration with existing systems.
• Maintain facility utilities and infrastructure, including compressed air, HVAC, boilers, plumbing, and building systems, while collaborating with production and engineering teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 7+ years of direct industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced, high-hazard manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry items or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and perform extended periods of standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Ability to work onsite in a high-hazard explosive manufacturing environment and comply with required PPE and site-specific safety procedures.
• Must meet U.S. eligibility requirements for ITAR-controlled technology and obtain and maintain applicable state and federal explosives licenses.

Nice to have

• Experience with energetic materials or other high-hazard manufacturing environments such as chemical or refining operations.
• PLC troubleshooting and basic programming experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens systems.
