Facilities Technician - Weekend Day Shift

Location: Devens, Massachusetts, United States; onsite weekend day shift. Schedule: Friday to Sunday and every other Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Hourly pay: Level 2: $29.80–$40.98; Level 3: $31.74–$43.65, plus a 5% shift differential on applicable shifts.

What you will do

• Coordinate proactive maintenance schedules and detailed job plans with maintenance planners and manufacturing teams.
• Troubleshoot, repair, install, overhaul, and maintain CNC, subtractive, post-processing, and facility equipment.
• Work with electronic, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, diagnose root causes, and complete corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and hand and power tools to safely dismantle and reassemble machinery.
• Support shipping and receiving operations and provide technical guidance to junior maintenance personnel.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing CNC equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with OSHA Lockout/Tagout procedures and general machine safety protocols.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work onsite in a controlled industrial environment on the specified weekend day shift.

Nice to have

• 10-hour OSHA Safety Certification.
• Manufacturing experience, preferably in precision manufacturing.
