Senior Business Analyst (ServiceNow)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must reside in and perform the work in the U.S.

Salary: $81,499–$138,549 annually

What you will do

• Analyze existing system documentation and summarize functionality relevant to project work.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scoped user stories with clear acceptance criteria using Gherkin syntax.
• Create and maintain project roadmaps and support the project lifecycle from discovery through delivery.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and facilitate cross-functional meetings with Product Owners, developers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, system demonstrations, and stakeholder presentations.
• Create and peer-review functional specifications, technical documentation, training materials, process maps, and role matrices.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and residence in the United States are required.
• Must be able to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance.
• 6+ years of business analysis experience translating requirements into scoped user stories and creating project documentation.
• Experience working with stakeholders to elicit, understand, and prioritize requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with system demonstrations, presentations, and manual testing of user stories.

Nice to have

• Experience working in an Agile environment and facilitating sprint ceremonies.
• Experience with the ServiceNow Platform, including App Engine, CSM, or ITSM.
• Experience using Gherkin syntax for user story acceptance criteria.
• Active DHS or DoW Public Trust clearance.
• Understanding of system technologies related to project deliverables.
