Video Producer

Location: Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area; remote work is possible at times, but in-person work at the San Francisco office is expected when needed for filming and production. Travel to customer sites and events is required.

Base salary: $140,000–$200,000 USD annually, plus benefits and equity.

What you will do

• Own the video program across customer stories, product launches, events, executive content, YouTube, shorts, and social formats.
• Develop narratives from technical subject matter and set the creative standard for story, pacing, visuals, sound, and detail.
• Film and direct interviews and other content at customer offices, conferences, events, and the San Francisco office.
• Edit long-form videos, launch assets, event recaps, social clips, and short-form content.
• Manage post-production, including sound design, color, motion graphics, animation, and final delivery.
• Build and operate a lean production pipeline covering equipment, scheduling, shot planning, footage organization, reviews, and deadlines.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating polished narrative work, quick-turn edits, social cuts, or short-form video.
• End-to-end experience filming, directing, and editing projects as an individual contributor.
• Strong editing skills in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or an equivalent tool.
• Experience shooting interviews on location and handling lighting and audio independently.
• Motion graphics and animation skills, with sound judgment about when to use them.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to travel for shoots at events and customer sites.

Nice to have

• Experience with developer tools, infrastructure, databases, or other engineering-focused subjects.
• Experience creating content for YouTube, social media, or a public creative channel.
• Experience filming and interviewing executives, engineers, customers, or technical experts.
• 3D or advanced animation skills in Blender, After Effects, or similar tools.
• Comfort using AI tools in creative and production workflows.
