Intern - Maintenance Engineer (Studying Master's Degree)

What you will do

• Lead a defined engineering or process improvement project with clear scope, deliverables, and measurable outcomes.
• Apply graduate-level engineering knowledge to manufacturing challenges in slider and HGA operations.
• Perform data analysis, technical documentation, and experiment design with guidance from a senior engineer mentor.
• Present project findings to the engineering organization at the midpoint and program close.
• Participate in structured learning sessions, assessments, and individual development conversations.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Completed a bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical discipline.
• Strong academic record with an active thesis or research project.
• Available for a structured 3–6 month onsite internship in Thailand.
• Advanced technical problem-solving, research, project management, and data analysis skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Thesis or research experience in manufacturing, materials, process optimization, or precision engineering.
• Experience with experimental design, statistical analysis, or process simulation.
• Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or quality engineering methodologies.
• Prior industry internship or research collaboration with a manufacturing company.
• Experience with Minitab, Python, MATLAB, or equivalent data analysis tools.
