Recording Head Test Engineering Intern (Hard Disk Drive)

Location: Onsite in Teparuk, Samut Prakan, Thailand. Travel: None.

What you will do

• Ensure electrical and mechanical tests and procedures meet required standards.
• Interpret test requirements, analyze test results and data, and determine pass/fail criteria.
• Identify problems in products and manufacturing processes and propose solutions.
• Work with software, electrical, mechanical, and other engineering teams to develop or improve test methods.
• Communicate test results and improvement recommendations to the product development team.

Requirements

• Ability to develop processes and collect data.
• Strong Excel macro skills for automating data entry and tasks.
• Familiarity with scripting and one or more programming or engineering applications, such as Python, R, JMP, MATLAB, JavaScript, or AutoCAD.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and effective data analysis skills.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with engineering supervisors and operations-level personnel.
